Chat with St. Charles Police Officers at “Coffee with a Cop”

Oct. 3, 9-10 a.m. at McDonald's, 1915 W. Main St.

Enjoy a complimentary McCafé coffee and the company of St. Charles police officers at the annual "Coffee with a Cop" Meet & Greet. Bring your questions and concerns to the St. Charles McDonald's, 1915 W. Main St., Wednesday, Oct. 3, from 9-10 a.m.

National Coffee with a Cop day, which began as part of National Community Policing Week in 2016, encourages communication and positive interactions between law enforcement agencies and the public. More information is at https://coffeewithacop.com. The St. Charles event is one of more than 1500 events to be held nationwide Oct. 3.

“We believe strongly in community-oriented public service,” said St. Charles Police Chief Jim Keegan. “Our officers look forward to getting out and meeting our residents and having face-to-face conversations. We’re grateful to McDonalds for hosting Coffee with a Cop again this year. It’s a great to bring police and the community together as partners in improving public safety. We’re all in this together.”
