City Announces Road Closures for Fine Art Show This Weekend in St. Charles

The 2016 St. Charles Fine Art Show will be held this weekend in downtown St. Charles.

To accommodate this event, the following streets will be closed beginning at 5 a.m. on Friday:

• Riverside Avenue will be closed between E. Main St. (Illinois Route 64) and Illinois Avenue.
• Walnut Avenue will be closed between Riverside Avenue and S. 2nd Avenue.
• Municipal Lot B, located in the 100 block of Walnut Avenue will also be closed.

The streets and parking lot are scheduled to re-open at 8:00 p.m. on Sunday May 29, 2016. Restrictions for parking inside the area of the closures have been posted. Vehicles parked in the area at the time of closure may be ticketed and/or towed.
