St. Charles residents can purchase a new parkway tree and the City of St. Charles will pay half the cost of the tree and plant it.

St. Charles residents can purchase a new parkway tree and the City of St. Charles will pay half the cost of the tree and plant it through the City’s 50/50 Parkway Tree Program.

To obtain a tree, contact the Public Works Department at 630.377.4405 or fill out the online form at www.stcharlesil.gov/services/public-trees/5050-program-pre-order to request a review of your parkway. All tree order requests must have an approved parkway review before an order will be placed.

After the parkway review is complete, you will receive a letter advising you of your approval status for a new tree. If your request is approved, you will then receive an Order Form and instructions about where to send your order with payment. Requests must be received by March 1st for consideration for spring planting.
