City of St. Charles Offers Easy Ways to Report Electric and Streetlight Issues

The City of St. Charles has several options available to residents for easy reporting of electric and streetlight outages.

The City of St. Charles has several options available to residents for easy reporting of electric and streetlight outages.

24/7 Electric Outage Hotline

Registered utility customers can report electric outages 24 hours a day to the City’s Electric Outage hotline. Registered phone numbers are linked to your City utility account so the outage location can immediately be identified when you call to report an issue.

Customers also have option to receive updates about the outage and get a call back to confirm power restoration. The hotline can be reached by calling 866.444.0016.

You can register up to three phone numbers for the reporting hotline by contacting the Utility Billing office at 630.377.4426 or through the Utility Billing online system at stcharlesil.gov/utility-billing/.

Reporting a Streetlight Issue

For out or malfunctioning streetlights, notify the City by using the St. Charles Connect app and map at stcharlesil.gov/connect, by using the online form at stcharlesil.gov/report-it, or by contacting the Public Works Office at 630.377.4405.
