Coroner Holds Memorial Service for Unclaimed Bodies
The service will be held Friday morning in St. Charles.
ST. CHARLES, IL — The Kane County Coroner’s Office will hold a memorial service Friday for people whose bodies were never claimed from the coroner’s office, according to a news release. The service will start at 10 a.m. in the Mausoleum on the west side of the St. Charles Township Cemetery, 1200 N. Fifth Ave. in St. Charles. Illinois Bishop Kristina Rake from the Church of the Nativity in St. Charles will officiate the brief interfaith service, according to the news release from the coroner’s office.
Those being memorialized are: Michael Fisher, Irene Hughes, Ilse Bauman, Melvin Blanton, David Moncatch, Winifred Underwood, Rebecca Nolan, Miguel Espinoza, Earlene Barr, Frank Fleit, Linda Schultz, Debra Caston and Pornthip Phommek.
