Deadline Extended for St. Patrick’s Parade Entries, Volunteers

From Downtown St. Charles: The Downtown St. Charles Partnership is extending its deadline for entry in the St. Patrick’s Parade, which will take place onSaturday, March 9 at 2:00 p.m. on Main Street in St. Charles. The new deadline for parade entries will be Friday, Feb. 22. The Downtown St. Charles Partnership will also be accepting volunteer applications up to the date of the parade. Local businesses, community groups, and non-profits are encouraged to participate. Those that wish to participate must complete an Entry Form, obtain a Certificate of Insurance, sign off on the Rules and Regulations and return the documents along with the appropriate entry fee via email to info@downtownstcharles.org or to the Downtown St. Charles Partnership office at 2 E. Main Street, St. Charles, IL 60174 no later than Friday, Feb. 22. The entry fee is $275 for businesses, $150 for DSCP Members and $25 for non-profit organizations. Volunteers are also in need to help with parade day execution.

We are accepting marshals, pacers and banner carriers for the parade! All parade entry and volunteer information is available on the event webpage at http://www.downtownstcharles.org/stpats. Gerald Auto Group will be sponsoring the parade, which will begin at 2:00 p.m. at Main and 6th Street. The route continues down Main Street and concludes at 4th Avenue.
