April 10, 2019 - St. Charles, IL – All elementary and secondary schools in District 303 have been recognized as Project Lead The Way (PLTW) Distinguished Schools for providing broad access to transformative learning opportunities for students.

The PLTW Distinguished School recognition honors schools committed to increasing student access, engagement, and achievement in their PLTW programs. To be eligible for the designation, schools needed to meet criteria that includes, but is not limited to, level of student involvement in PLTW, number of PLTW courses offered, number of students accessing multiple PLTW courses throughout their school careers, as well as student success within PLTW.

Only 426 of the over 11,500 schools across the country, representing all 50 states and the District of Columbia that offer PLTW courses to their students, received this honor.
