Earth Day Festivities Planned At Creek Bend Nature Center

Activities will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on April 22.

From Kane Forest Preserve District: Earth Day is every day at Creek Bend Nature Center, but Sunday, April 22, is extra special!

Throughout the day, the Forest Preserve District of Kane County will lead activities at Creek Bend Nature Center from stories and crafts to a native landscaping program. There will be Earth Day treats for everyone. We will also treat Mother Earth by cleaning up the trails. Activities are from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and include:

8 a.m. – Bird Walk (Free, all ages)

10:30-11:30 a.m. – Earth Day Garden Workshop ($10 per garden, all ages)

12-4 p.m. – Crafts and Games (Free, all ages)

1-2 p.m. – Native Landscaping 101 ($10 fee, ages 18 and up)

3-4 p.m. – Nature Hike and Trail Cleanup (Free, all ages)
