Liquid latex paint and oil paint will be accepted at the event. Paint also has a recycling fee per container, payable by the resident with cash or check. It is $2 per pint, $3.50 per gallon, and $10 per 5-gallon bucket. Latex paint is non-toxic but difficult to dispose of normally because you have to dry it out before placing it in your landfill trash, according to the news release. However, it can be easily recycled into new products with no drying out necessary.

Oil paint is now accepted at the event, for a per can cost of $6 per gallon and $25 per 5-gallon bucket. Cash or check is accepted for payment of paint fees. Oil paint can be dropped off at the Naperville HHW facility for free.

Those looking to have their documents shredded at the event can bring the documents in paper bags or boxes. There is a limit of four boxes. The service is for residents only and not for business use.
