Elias Kent Kane Chapter National Society Daughters of the American Revolution honors District U-46 student

ST. Charles - The Elias Kent Kane Chapter National Daughters of the American Revolution announced their annual DAR Scholarship winner at their June 3rd meeting. This award is presented to a local graduating high school senior who is continuing their education at an accredited college or university.

Nayeli Cisneros, a senior from Elgin High School - District U-46, wrote a captivating essay and was awarded this year's scholarship based on her outstanding accomplishments during her time in high school. Nayeli will be attending Judson University in the fall where she will study Business Management and also run on the Women's Cross Country Team. Congratulations Nayeli!
