Jackie Kold Fitness and Yoga
Joining in National Yoga Month with ONE WEEK FREE YOGA

This month, millions of people
across the world are practicing yoga to celebrate National Yoga Month. Since 2008, Yoga Month has expanded into a nationally recognized awareness campaign and national observance, contributing tools to inspire health and harmony in life through yoga. This year, the Yoga Health Foundation, the nonprofit organization coordinating Yoga Month, plans to offer an unprecedented number of
one week free yoga passes, available through September 30 at www.yogamonth.org

Locally, Jackie Kold Fitness and Yoga, at 5N201 Shady Oaks Court in St. Charles, IL is participating in the free week of yoga classes for new students.  “Since experience is such a powerful teacher I wanted to join the Yoga Health Foundation so that more women locally would
take this opportunity to try yoga for themselves,” stated Kold who owns and operates the studio and also offers boot camps and personal training for women
and families.

The numerous benefits of yoga include stress management, increased flexibility, relaxation, stronger muscles and connective tissue, among many others. A regular practice encourages an overall well-being that many yogis from all walks of life enjoy. The immense
health benefits of yoga have been proven countless times, yet the Yoga Health Foundation challenges people to experience yoga for themselves and share its
positive physical and mental effects. Through one free week of yoga passes, and with the support of studios like Jackie Kold Fitness and Yoga in St. Charles, IL, National Yoga Month provides the tools for beginners to try yoga, and for experienced yogis to expand their practice. Whether just beginning or continuing a journey through yoga, Yoga Month provides the perfect opportunity
to discover yoga’s simple, unique health benefits firsthand.

About National Yoga Month

In 2008, the Department of Health and Human Services designated September as National Yoga Month, one of a select number of national health observances.
Since then, the initiative has taken root as a global awareness campaign, educating, inspiring and motivating people to achieve a healthy lifestyle. Each
September over 1,500 yoga studios will participate in the One Week Free Yoga program and host over 1,000 yoga classes and events.  The Yoga Month campaign is administered by the Yoga Health Foundation, a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization registered in
the State of California. All funds benefit the national awareness campaign and yoga health education for at-risk kids in schools.
