Participants will be taught movement vocabulary and sequences on four different popular aerial apparatus: Silks, Hammock, Lyra, and Static Trapeze. Emphasis will be placed on building a solid foundation for safe aerial work. Attendees will also learn basic flying moves such as: back somersaults, front somersaults and spins (both fast and slow).

There will also be a special aerial performance by Dreya Weber on an original apparatus that she recently designed for Teatro ZinZanni's production of Hail Caesar!

Participants will get more out of the workshop if they build hand and forearm strength. We recommend chin-ups and hanging from a towel draped over a pull up bar.

Our instructors include Dreya Weber (world renown aerialist/choreographer and P90X video series model) and Tracy Nunnally and Jason Whicker from Hall Associates Flying FX.

This is a great workshop for dancers, gymnasts, athletes, and theatre technicians (for operating techniques) looking for a new challenge or seeking to improve current skills. Cost for this exclusive event is $200. You will receive the best training from top aerial professionals. Students will prepare a showcase piece for friends and family at the conclusion of the day. Students under 16 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. No experience necessary. Class size is limited, so REGISTER TODAY!
