
This class is different from other Tai Chi forms. It uses the Sun style which is less ballistic / explosive than other styles and places more modest demands on twisting and turning and low stances. Studies have shown it to be effective not only with Arthritis but with other motion oriented health problems such as fibromyalgia, stroke victims, Parkinson’s, and is helpful in preventing falls in seniors. The class can be done from both a standing or seated position.
Studies have suggested that the practice of Tai Chi can
reduce pain, improve reach and improve balance.
