Dash camera footage from the semi showed the semi truck was headed south on Route 47 and traveling through the intersection at Beith Road when the pickup truck, which was eastbound on Beith Road, failed to stop for a stop sign at the intersection, according to a news release.
A driver behind the semi truck confirmed the pickup truck ran the stop sign and also that the semi truck driver was not speeding, police said.
The semi truck driver was not injured.
As of Tuesday afternoon, Route 47 in the area of the collision remained closed. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
