Fellows, 4th Streets Closed During Water Main Project

Starting on Sept. 5, the intersection and portions of Fellows and 4th streets will be closed from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

ST. CHARLES, IL — The City of St Charles is replacing an aging water main along Fellows and S. 4th streets.

Starting on Sept. 5, the intersection and portions of Fellows and 4th streets will be closed from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. during the work week to make room for the work, according to a news release. The daily road closures will be in effect continuing throughout the end of the project, which is estimated to be completed in November.

All affected residents have been notified, and drivers should expect traffic delays and are encouraged to take alternate routes.

Work will include water main construction, concrete and asphalt removal and replacement and landscaping and final restoration.
