Flat Cats Will "Swing In the New Year" Sunday Afternoon at the Norris Cultural Arts Center
Music in the Gallery concert at 3 p.m. on Jan. 22 includes dancers from Fred Astaire Studio.

St. Charles, Jan. 17 - The Flat Cats, a popular area swing and jazz combo, will appear in concert a 3 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 22, as the next event in the Norris Cultural Art Center's "Music in the Gallery" series.
Tickets for this family-friendly concert are priced at $15 for adults and $10 for children under 12, and are available online at www.NorrisCulturalArts.com or by calling the box office at 630-584-7200. Remaining tickets will be available on the day of the concert.
The Flat Cats play a range of vintage and modern music rooted in the hottest swinging jazz and blues, contemporary classics and timeless standards. The group is comprised of six talented musicians with years of performing, arranging, and composing experience. There will be room for attendees to dance, and some professional dancers from the Fred Astaire Dance Studio of St. Charles will be on hand to help “Swing” in the New Year.

Next up on the Norris Gallery's event series, Feb. 5 at 3 p.m., is "Meeting the Lincolns," featuring Michael Krebs and Debra Miller recreating Abe and Mary Todd Lincoln in remarkable portrayals.
