Forest Preserve Hosts Event for Homeschool Families
The Forest Preserve District of Kane County will explore the topic of hibernating animals.

The Forest Preserve District of Kane County invites homeschool families to explore the topic of hibernating animals on Thursday, Feb. 12, from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
The “Homeschool Explorations” program series is specially designed for families with children ages 5-10, although all ages are welcome. Each month, we cover a nature topic at a different forest preserve.

In February, this program takes place at Grunwald Farms Forest Preserve, located at 02S035 N. Lorang Rd., Elburn.
Advance registration is required. Registration is $2 per person, per session. Call 630-444-3190 or e-mailprograms@kaneforest.com to register.
