November 18, 2015, Nomad Theatre Company, who produces a wide variety of projects around the Fox Valley Area, announced their next production “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever!” on stage December 4th and 5th.
The play is a hilarious Christmas classic, a mother struggling to put on a church Christmas pageant is faced with casting the Herdman kids--probably the most inventively awful kids in history. You won’t believe the mayhem - and the fun - when the Herdmans collide with the Christmas story head on!

“Confidence in public speaking is such an underestimated life skill. Live theatre classes help my daughter gain that confidence while teaching her responsibility and teamwork in a fun, non-intimidating environment.” Jennifer Rosser (parent)
“Ms. Tracy is really nice and she is one of the main reasons that I keep acting. She tells us to follow our dreams no matter how big they are. I have so much fun with her every time I go on stage. Tracy is an amazing person. I love working with her.” Aubrey Risch (actor)
“I am learning how to work as a team and how to learn social skills. It’s helping me be in an environment where I can be myself. It’s some of the most fun I have ever had.” Luke Risch (intern)
“We count Ms. Tracy and Nomad Theater as one of our biggest blessings. It is no small thing to watch your children do what they love and the performances have given our family some of the most beautiful moments in our children’s lives. We are so thankful that Ms. Tracy is in our community and a part of our lives.” Jenny Risch (parent)
“I am learning a lot about staging and how to act. I am feeling more confident about myself and I am having a lot of fun. Tracy is a great director and she has great ideas for the kids.” Tess Engerman (actor)
“We have had a great experience with Tracy and Nomad Theatre. Our daughter is acquiring some fantastic skills - both theater skills as well as life skills. We feel lucky to be a part of the program.” Bill and Amy Engerman (parents)
“I’ve been in plays at school, but this play gives me a chance to act with younger kids and different directors. We also only have one production at school each year, and this is giving me a chance to be in another play and to keep working at becoming a better actor.” Grayce Cunnar (actor)
“Tracy has a wonderful way of working with children. She has mastered the art of providing guidance and direction to the actors without leaving the children feeling like they are being criticized. All of the staff have been incredibly welcoming and helpful, both to my daughter and to me.” Sarah Cunnar (parent)
“Tracy helped me build self-confidence, and I can see that she is always willing to help if someone doesn’t “get it.” Maggie King (actor)
“I am learning about the importance of knowing where your props are, mic switches, and how to act on stage. I can make new friends, learn new things, and do a lifetime of fun in a week. I look forward to having fun every week. I get to meet new friends, learn, and, of course, PERFORM!” Ryan Conter (actor)
“I’ve been meeting great friends, having tons of fun, and not to be so afraid on the stage.” Alyssa Marcelain (actor)
“We can’t say enough great things about this program! Our daughter has grown so much this past year and has gained so much more confidence in her acting/singing. It also has given her more of an appreciation for the arts.” Mary and Ernie Marcelain (parents)
