Groundbreaking Next Week For New Police Station

The 56,000-square-foot, two-story police station headquarters will replace the police station's current location in St. Charles.

ST. CHARLES, IL – A groundbreaking ceremony for a new police department headquarters is scheduled for Monday, July 23 at the site of the department's new facility, 1515 Main Street. Opening remarks begin at 6 p.m. followed by an official groundbreaking and photos at 6:15. Parking is available on site, according to a news release.

Remarks will be delivered by St. Charles Police Chief James Keegan and Mayor Raymond Rogina.

Other attendees will include police department staff and officials; members of the St. Charles City Council; and executives and staff of Riley Construction, construction manager for the project.
