Ike, a Great Dane, has been missing from St. Charles for several days now.

Ike went missing from the area of Red Gate Road and Route 31 after he slipped away in the heavy snow around 4:30 a.m. on Nov. 20. He is a Great Dane, old and all black except gray around the muzzle. He is 140 pounds and very sweet, loves to be petted and is not aggressive, Abby Abandonista told Patch.

He was last spotted in the the Novak Park neighborhood (the neighborhood just north of Red Gate Road on Roue 31 by the Fox River).

“He doesn’t do well active for long periods of time so he may have found his way to somewhere warm to lay down,” Abandonista said. Ike is microchipped.
