Joe Biden To Rally For Underwood In St. Charles

ST. CHARLES, IL --- Vice President Joe Biden will appear in St. Charles for a special early vote rally for District 14 Democratic candidate Lauren Underwood on Halloween. The event, which is free and open to the public, will kick off at Kane County Fairgrounds at 9:45 a.m.

Biden endorsed Underwood in her bid against G.O.P. incumbent Randy Hultgren in September. The former Vice President said in a statement on social media that he was "inspired by [Underwood's] commitment to public service and thankful for her work to make high-quality, affordable healthcare available to millions of families across the country."

At just 32, Underwood, a Naperville native and Neuqua Valley High School alumnus, has gained a wave of support from local Democrats. In a statement about the upcoming rally with Biden, Underwood said she was "completely thrilled"
