Join Winter Scavenger Hunts With The Forest Preserve District
The events will be held at forest preserve sites in Elburn and St. Charles.

From the Forest Preserve District of Kane County: Search for nature’s treasures in the winter woods during “Winter Scavenger Hunt” hikes.
Forest Preserve District of Kane County naturalists will lead the way as we’ll look for animal tracks, seeds, burrows, and much more!
The first hike will be Saturday, Feb. 3, from 10-11 a.m. at Elburn Forest Preserve, located at 45W061 IL Rte. 38, Maple Park.

The second hike will be Sunday, Feb. 18, from 10-11 a.m. at Tekakwitha Woods Forest Preserve, located at 35W076 Villa Marie Rd., St. Charles.
All ages are welcome on these fun scavenger hunts. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Advance registration is required. Call 630-444-3190 or e-mail programs@kaneforest.com to register.
