ST. CHARLES, IL — Cities and counties across the country continue to bring back many of the traditional Independence Day activities that were either canceled or modified the last two years. July 4 is just around the corner, so it's time to find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you in 2022.

What: Fireworks at Pottawatomie Park
Where: Pottawatomie Park, 8 North Avenue, St. Charles
When: July 4 at dusk

What: Sky Concert and Independence Day celebration in Batavia
Where: Best viewing at Batavia High School, 1201 Main St., or Engstrom Park, 326 Millview Drive
When: Food and music will start at 5 p.m. July 4, and the fireworks display is set to go off at 9:30 p.m.
