"He had made a comment that he had come here, and he knew this was a place he would want to come film a movie," she said. "I think that's pretty cool. Obviously, we've got a very unique location with the river and, at night, the lights shine on the Hotel Baker. It's just a very unique, cool setting for a movie."
Michael Fassbender stars in "The Killer" alongside Tilda Swinton, according to What's New On Netflix, a website that shares Netflix news. Fassbender is known for his work in several "X-Men" movies, "Steve Jobs" and "Macbeth," and plays the killer in "The Killer." IMDb provides this description of the film, which is based on a comic book with the same name:
A man solitary and cold, methodical and unencumbered by scruples or regrets, the killer waits in the shadows, watching for his next target. And yet the longer he waits, the more he thinks he's losing his mind, if not his cool. A brutal, bloody and stylish noir story of a professional assassin lost in a world without a moral compass, this is a case study of a man alone, armed to the teeth and slowly losing his mind.
The film is expected to be released on Netflix later this year or early in 2023.
