ST. CHARLES, IL — An Algonquin man was sentenced this week to serve four years in prison for writing a bad check to a St. Charles car dealer and stealing from a Geneva homeowner. David Regal, 34, pleaded guilty in September to theft and deceptive practice, both felonies, according to prosecutors.
