KANE COUNTY, IL — A police presence is being reported at the Kane County Judicial Center in St. Charles Wednesday morning, and authorities have taken a man with a weapon into custody, according to an alert from the Kane County Sheriff's Office.

Police say the situation is an isolated incident, no one has been injured and there is no threat to the public. Authorities are urging residents and drivers to use caution in the area of the judicial center, which is located at 37W777 Route 38 in St. Charles, since there is still a minimal police presence.
