Mark Your Calendar: Electric Christmas Parade Planned for Nov. 30
Applications for parade entrants are now being accepted as the city plans to hold Holiday Homecoming events on Nov. 29 and Nov. 30.

ST. CHARLES, IL — The Electric Christmas Parade typically draws crowds and will soon be back for another great year in downtown St. Charles. For those wishing to enter a float or participate in the Nov. 30 parade, registration is now open.
The St. Charles Business Alliance is seeking applications from local businesses, community groups and non-profits. The deadline for entries is Friday, Oct. 20.
Entrants must submit an entry application, certificate of insurance forms and an entry fee to nfo@stcalliance.org. All forms can be found on the St. Charles Holiday Homecoming website and the entry fee is $275 for businesses, $150 for St. Charles businesses and $25 for non-profit organizations.

Holiday Homecoming: If You Go
The two-day holiday homecoming event will kick off on Nov. 29 starting with the lighting of the lights on First Street Plaza at 5 p.m. Starting at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 30, there will be a holiday movie at the Arcada Theatre at 10 a.m., sleigh rides and visits with Santa on the First Street Plaza.
The day will culminate with the Electric Christmas Parade. All Holiday Homecoming events and activities are free of charge.

The Electric Christmas Parade features bands, parade floats and our special guest, Santa Claus. The event is organized by the St. Charles Business Alliance, and made possible by sponsorship support, including presenting sponsor Fox Valley Auto Group.
