(ST CHARLES) Vero Voce Theater in St Charles proudly presents Disney’s Mulan Jr. Performances are on Fridays at 7:00pm, Saturdays at 4:30pm and 7:00pm, and Sundays at 6:00 pm, May 13-22, 2016 in the Pheasant Run Mainstage Theater, located at 4051 E. Main Street, St. Charles IL 60174.
Based on Disney’s Oscar-nominated film, Disney's Mulan JR. is a heartwarming celebration of culture, honor and the fighting spirit. With hit songs and a story packed with action, humor and heart, Disney's Mulan JR. brings ancient China to life with a modern sensibility.
The Huns have invaded, and it is up to the misfit Mulan and her mischievous dragon sidekick, Mushu, to save the Emperor! Defying the village matchmaker, Mulan takes up arms and disguises herself as a boy in order to spare her father from having to serve in the army. As the great battle with the Huns approaches, Mulan must choose between revealing her true identity as a girl or saving all of China with her clever plan.

Mulan Jr is directed by Dennis Brown (Vero Voce Co-Owner), with Assistant Director Paige Lindsay, Vocal Director Dawn Harkins (Vero Voce Co-Owner) and Choreographer Jocelyn Adamski.
The cast includes Conroy Unruh, Paige Lindsay (Batavia), Macey Bukckman (Elgin), Ryan Bussert (S. Elgin, Meghan Monroe (Geneva), Audrey Morreal (Huntley), Gabrielle Willaert, Calum Lowe, Meredith Abbs, Jayd Steinke, Jake Love, Lucy Love, Elena Christos, Vada Wozniak, Rachel Cornille, Abigail Hannah, Mackenzie Oster, David Brown (St. Charles), Nicole Vandermey, Meghan Keifer, Samantha Manthei, and Ava Nunes (West Chicago).
