New Consignment Shop Opens In St. Charles

Second Take Consignment Shop has moved into a vacant space at Main and North Second streets.

ST. CHARLES, IL — A new consignment shop has opened in a prominent location in downtown St. Charles.

Owner Tammi Rojek's Double Take Consignment has moved into a vacant space at the corner of Main and North Second streets. This is Rojek's second consignment shop; she also owns a Double Take Consignment shop in Crystal Lake, according to the Daily Herald.

The building housed Corlson's Clothing Store for decades before it was heavily damaged in a Christmas Day fire in 1933. The business rebuilt in the same location before Vertical Drop Ski and Patio Shop moved in in 1987, according to the Daily Herald. Vertical Drop closed in 2013 and then Stanbridge Master Saddlers took over followed by Sportiva.
