No Injuries In St. Charles Fire
The blaze broke out inside a building on Sidwell Court Wednesday afternoon.
ST. CHARLES, IL — No one was injured when a blaze broke out in St. Charles Wednesday afternoon.
Fire crews with the St. Charles Fire Department responded to 602 Sidwell Court, Unit Q, at about 2:20 p.m. for a report of a building on fire. When they arrived, they found an active fire inside the unit, according to a news release.
The blaze was quickly brought under control and contained to the unit it originated in, according to fire officials. The structure of the building was not affected by the blaze.

The fire caused $15,000 in damage to items inside the unit, according to the news release. There was one person working at the business at the time of the blaze who reported the fire and was able to get out safely.
No one was injured by the fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
