Outdoor Motorcycle Track Could Be Coming To Harley-Davidson Property

The St. Charles business is hoping to build the track on a 1.75-acre parcel west of the business's paved track and parking lot.

Harley-Davidson would offer classes on the course that would give licensed drivers the chance to learn how to safely drive off-road adventure bikes and motorcycles.

ST. CHARLES, IL — The St. Charles Plan Commission this past week approved plans to turn a 1.75-acre parcel of land east of the Kane County Fairgrounds property into an unpaved motorcycle training course, the Kane County Chronicle is reporting.

Fox River Harley-Davidson, at 131 S. Randall Road, submitted its business plan for the track, which would be west of the business's paved test track and parking lot. The dealership would offer classes that would give licensed drivers the chance to learn how to safely drive off-road adventure bikes and motorcycles, according to the Kane County Chronicle.

The city council's planning and development committee is next expected to weigh in on the proposal.
