Parade Entries Now Sought For Electric Christmas Parade
The deadline for entries is Oct. 20. The annual Christmas parade in St. Charles will be held on Nov. 25.

ST. CHARLES, IL -- The Downtown St. Charles Partnership is now accepting entries for the annual Electric Christmas Parade. The parade, which steps of at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 25, on Main Street in St. Charles, is taking parade entries through Oct. 20. Local businesses, community groups, and non-profits are encouraged to participate, according to a news release.
The entry fee is $275 for businesses and $150 for Downtown St. Charles Partnership member businesses and $25 for non-profit organizations. More information can be found on the event website at www.downtownstcharles.org/holidays.
The two-day Holiday Homecoming event kicks off on Friday, Nov. 24 at 5 p.m. with Lighting of the Lights on the First Street Plaza. Then, on Saturday, November 25, there will be a holiday movie at the Arcada Theatre at 10 a.m., sleigh rides, and visits with Santa on the First Street Plaza beginning at 1 p.m. The day culminates with the Electric Christmas Parade.

All Holiday Homecoming events and activities are free of charge.
The Electric Christmas Parade features bands, parade floats, Miss Illinois and, of course, the parde's special guest, Santa Claus. The event is organized by the Downtown St. Charles Partnership, and made possible by sponsorship support, including Presenting Sponsor Gerald Kia of North Aurora.
