Pets Will Be Blessed on October 1st

Pets and animals of all kinds will receive a blessing on October 1st at 4pm at St. Charles Episcopal Church.

To celebrate the upcoming Feast of St. Francis, Reverend Stacy Walker of St. Charles Episcopal Church will be blessing animals large and small at a special outdoor service on Sunday, October 1st, at 4:00 p.m. Our pets are a part of our families, and this is a wonderful opportunity to thank God for their presence in our lives. Bring your pet (on a leash or in a carrier, please) and Reverend Stacy will bless its furry, scaled, feathered, or leathery head. Horses and other livestock are also welcome.

Please come and help us celebrate the gift of all creatures great and small. The event will take place rain or shine.

St. Charles Episcopal Church is located at 994 N. 5th Avenue (Route 25) in St. Charles, and offers three Sunday morning services. The building is wheelchair accessible. For more information, call 630-584-2596 or visit http://www.stcharlesepiscopal.org
