Police Again Seek Help Locating St. Charles Man

DUPAGE COUNTY, IL — DuPage County investigators are again asking for the public's help as they continue to investigate the February disappearance of John “Chicago Johnny” Spira. Spira, of St. Charles, was last seen at his business, Universal Cable Construction, in an unincorporated area near West Chicago on Feb. 23, 2007, authorities said.

Spira, who was 45 when he was reported missing, is 5 feet, 9 inches tall, weighs 165 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes, according to a news release from the DuPage County Sheriff's Office.

At the time of his disappearance, it is known that Spira was recruiting investors for business
opportunities and start-up companies, authorities said.
