Police Investigating Armed Robbery At 7-Eleven

The Main Street store was robbed late Sunday.

On Sunday August 9, 2020 at 9:21 PM, officers responded to the 7-11 Store located at 2400 E. Main Street for the report of an armed robbery which had just occurred.

The employee reported that a male subject entered the business and displayed a knife as he approached the counter. The offender was described as approximately 5’10” tall wearing a black hooded sweat shirt and red face covering. The offender also had what appeared to be red dye on his hands.

No one was injured in the incident and the offender left the store with an undisclosed amount of proceeds. He then possibly left in a vehicle. A review of the store’s security camera system showed that the offender was wearing a unique hooded sweatshirt.
