Record Attendance For Lighting Of Lights In St. Charles
The St. Charles Business Alliance has also released the winners from this year's Electric Christmas Parade.

ST. CHARLES, IL — Around 25,000 people stopped out to the Electric Christmas Parade this year, and the city's Lighting of the Lights Ceremony also saw record attendance.
Meanwhile, the St. Charles Business Alliance has announced the winners from the parade. Here is a look at which businesses and organizations were picked as the best among the 54 holiday-themed entries in this year's parade.

- 1st Place: D2 Performing Company
- 2nd Place: Girls Scouts of Northern Illinois
- 3rd Place: 3rd Street Dance & Theatre Academy, Inc.

The two-day holiday homecoming in St. Charles also included a holiday tree trail along 1st Street and the riverfront walkway, which featured decorated trees. The winners for this year's tree-decorating contest include:
- 1st Place: Lord of Life Church, Elburn Preschool
- 2nd Place: Lincoln Elementary
- 3rd Place: Mortgage Gal Danielle
