Registration for District 303 Preschool Lottery Program Opens Soon

Community Unit School District 303 is conducting online lottery registration for its Community Pre-School Program from, Friday, Jan. 13 through Monday, Jan. 23.

For the 2017-18 school year, District 303 will offer a five-day-a-week, half-day, morning or afternoon preschool program at Fox Ridge, Ferson Creek and Norton Creek Schools, according to a District 303 news release.

The program will be open to children ages 3 to 5 years old who reside within the District 303 school boundaries who are 3 years old by September 1, 2017 and not eligible for Kindergarten.

The tuition cost for the program is $285 per month. A $100 annual non-refundable registration and materials fee will also be required. Tuition and registration and materials fee are pending Board of Education approval.

Observational tours will be offered to all D303 community parents prior to registration.

• Norton Creek tour: Monday, January 9, 2017 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at 2033 Smith Road in West Chicago)
• Fox Ridge tour: Tuesday, January 10, 2017 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at 1905 Tyler Road in St. Charles
• Ferson Creek tour: Wednesday, January 11, 2017 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at 38W160 Bolcum Road, St. Charles

The lottery will take place on Tuesday, Jan. 24 and parents will be notified that day via email if their child was randomly selected. Registrants not chosen will be placed on a waiting list and will be notified if space becomes available.
