Repairs To Main Street Bridge Planned For Coming Days
Residents will not be able to access the sidewalk and parking spaces adjacent to the bridge on Friday, next week.

ST. CHARLES, IL — The sidewalk and parking spaces along the Main Street bridge in St. Charles will closed in coming days as repairs are made to the decorative canopies on the bridge, city officials said.
Residents will not be able to access the sidewalk and the adjacent street parking spaces on the north side of the bridge over the Fox River on Friday and Monday, according to a news release from the city of St. Charles. The sidewalk will be open this weekend.
After work is complete on the north side, the south sidewalk and adjacent spaces will be shut down for about three days.

Vehicle traffic on the Main Street bridge is not expected to be impacted, according to city officials.
