Rocket Fizz Soda Pop & Candy Shop opened Thursday at 301 West Main Street.
It was a busy first day at the new, local shop. Customers stopped by Thursday to check out the 4,000 different types of candy, which are from different decades; 97 flavors of salt water taffy and more than 500 different types of bottled soda, the Kane County Chronicle reports.

The candy and soda shop chain also has locations in Glenview and Fairview Heights.
