Route 25 Resurfacing Project Gets Underway
The road resurfacing project got underway this past week and continue through late November.

ST. CHARLES, IL -- A resurfacing project on Route 25 in St. Charles got underway this past week and is expected to wrap up in late November, according to a news release from the Illinois Department of Transportation. The project consists of resurfacing Illinois 25 from Johnor Avenue to just south of the Brewster Creek bridge. Drainage improvements and curb and gutter repairs will also be made.
In order to complete the work, lane closures will be necessary, according to IDOT.
Motorists can expect delays and should allow extra time for trips through the construction area. Drivers are urged to pay close attention to flaggers and signs in the work zones, obey the posted speed limits and be on the alert for workers and equipment, according to a news release.
