Sen. Oberweis: Fraud Prevention Program Sept. 21 in West Chicago

Sen. Oberweis and Rep. Fortner are sponsoring a free Fraud Prevention Program Sept. 21 in West Chicago.

Representatives from the Illinois Comptroller’s office will be on hand Sept. 21 in West Chicago at a free Fraud Prevention Program sponsored by State Sen. Jim Oberweis (Sugar Grove) and State Rep. Mike Fortner (West Chicago).

The Fraud Prevention Program is scheduled from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., Sept. 21, at Wayne Township, 27W031 North Ave., in West Chicago. Free refreshments will be available.

The Comptroller’s office will provide information about identity theft, scam artists and fraudulent businesses, checking a credit report, and filing a consumer fraud complaint.
