Settlement Reached in Lawsuit Filed by Woman Who Fell Into St. Charles Sushi Pit

A confidential settlement has been reached in a lawsuit filed by a former St. Charles woman who fell into a sushi pit during a December 2012 anniversary party for Wok ‘N Fire, according to the Daily Herald.

According to the lawsuit, Sarah Chacon, who now lives in Sugar Grove, and other patrons at the restaurant were encouraged to dance on sushi tables that were converted into a dance area during the gathering. Chacon fell into a sushi pit where chefs prepared dishes and was injured.
