Some Parking Lots Closed for Festival of the Fox this Weekend

The Festival of the Fox will take place June 9-12. There will be some parking lot closures associated with the carnival set-up and operation. There will also be some temporary parking restrictions in the area surrounding Pottawatomie Park.

The following parking lots will be closed Wednesday June 8th – Sunday June 12th:

• Municipal Lot G, located at the northwest corner of N. 2nd Street and Cedar Street.
• Municipal Lot O, Located at the northwest corner of N. 3rd St Street and Cedar Street.
• Parking on Cedar Street between 2nd Street and 3rd Street will also be prohibited during that time.
• 3rd Street between Cedar and State Street will be closed.

The following temporary parking restrictions will be in place on Saturday June 11th and Sunday June 12th near Pottawatomie Park:

• No Parking on North Avenue from 5th Avenue to the park entrance
• No Parking on N. 2nd Avenue from State Avenue to North Avenue

Motorists are encouraged to check carefully for posted restrictions before parking.
