ST. CHARLES, IL – St. Charles Bowl will temporarily close starting Friday, due to the statewide shift to Tier 3 mitigations following a rise in coronavirus cases.

The company announced the closure on its website, noting it will be closed until further notice.

The venue has been in operation for over 50 years, and serves as a popular spot for birthday parties, corporate events and fundraisers. It offers automatic bowling for kids and cosmic bowling for all ages, as well as competitive leagues for all ages.

St. Charles Bowl said it hopes to reopen in December.

"We hope you stay safe and have a great Thanksgiving in the meantime," the company wrote on Facebook. "We look forward to seeing you again soon!"
