St. Charles Businesses Cited For Selling Alcohol To Minor
Three businesses received citations for selling alcohol to a minor and a fourth business received a citation for an after-hours violation.
ST. CHARLES, IL — Three St. Charles businesses have received citations for selling alcohol to a minor, city officials said Thursday.
The St. Charles Liquor Control Commission issued the citations to the businesses during an Oct. 17 meeting. The businesses cited for selling alcohol to a person under 21 years old include: Alter Brewing, 12 South First St. in St. Charles; The Evergreen Pub, 1400 West Main St. in St. Charles; and Tap House Grill, 3341 West Main St. in St. Charles.
A $1,000 fine was issued for the liquor license holders for all of the businesses.

Meanwhile, Riverside Pizza, at 102 E. Main St. in St. Charles, was issued a citation for an after-hours violation. The business owner was also ordered to pay a $1,000 fine.
