St. Charles City Council Gets New Alderman
Bill Kalamaris, a 18-year resident of St. Charles, will fill a vacate seat on the city council.

ST. CHARLES, IL — A longtime St. Charles resident has been sworn in as the newest member of the St. Charles City Council.
Bill Kalamaris, a senior director of global technology supplier management for McDonald's Corporation, has lived in St. Charles for more than 18 years and has been elected to serve the remaining term of a vacant seat on the city council, according to a news release from the city of St. Charles.
The seat was vacated when former alderman Richard Bella resigned and moved out of his ward.

“I would like to extend a warm welcome to Alderperson Kalamaris,” said Mayor Lora Vitek. “He has a genuine desire to give back to his community and I am glad he stepped forward to serve on the City Council. He will bring a welcome perspective.”
