St. Charles Cyclists Bike 540 Miles to Raise Funds for Girl, 11, Battling Cancer
Madi Beetham, 11, of Yorkville, has been diagnosed with stage 4 Lymphoblastic lymphoma.

The owner of Sammy’s Bikes in St. Charles, as well as 13 members from the St. Charles Cycling Club, biked more than 540 miles from Salt Lake City to Denver earlier this month to help raise funds for a suburban girl who is battling cancer, according to Suburban Life Publications.
The funds helped to benefit the family of Madi Beetham -- an 11-year-old Yorkville girl who has been diagnosed with stage 4 Lymphoblastic lymphoma and is an outpatient at Lurie’s Children’s Hospital in Chicago, the newspaper reports. Madi’s father, Brad, is a customer of Sammy’s Bikes and a past sponsor for one of Radi’s racing teams.
