St. Charles East Cheer UEC Conference Champs

The Lady Saints earned a three peat UEC River Division title Thursday night at Nequa Valley High School. The Lady Saints cheered past Streamwood Sabres who grabbed second place and the St. Charles North Stars who placed third. The team worked extremely hard to win the title again and with the Saints basketball teams in the stands cheering them on how could they loose. The Lady Saints will compete this Sunday at the Huntley High School Competition and on January 31 at DeKalb High School for the IHSA Competitive Cheer Sectional Competition. Top five teams qualify for IHSA State Competition to be held on February 6-7 in Bloomington, IL. The Lady Saints are coached by Tawny Powers and Johnnie Buckley.
