St. Charles Garage Fire Under Investigation
A blaze broke out in an attached garage in St. Charles last week. No one was injured.
ST. CHARLES, IL — No one was injured when a fire broke out in an attached garage in St. Charles.
The St. Charles Fire Department responded to the fire at 1704 Rita Avenue at about 4:45 p.m. Friday and was able to bring the fire under control within 20 minutes, according to a news release. The blaze did not spread to any nearby structures.
The garage sustained about $27,000 in damage to the structure and items inside the garage.

No one was injured in the blaze. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
