The 72-year-old man is accused of assaulting the girls between 2008 and 2012 at a home daycare run by his wife in Schaumburg.

COOK COUNTY, IL - A 72-year-old St. Charles man has been charged with sexually assaulting two children at an unlicensed daycare that his wife ran out of a home in Schaumburg, ABC 7 reports. Julio Marquez was arrested Thursday and his bail has been set at $3 billion. Prosecutors said Marquez sexually assaulted two girls, one who was 3 years old at the time and the other who was 4 years old, in 2012.
One of the alleged sex assault victims came forward last month, the Daily Herald reports. The girl said the assaults started when she was 3 years old with the abuse continuing between 2008 and 2012 at the daycare, which was located in the 400 block of West Wise Street. The second victim, who was 4 years old at the time, reported she was abused during the same time frame.
Marquez, who is charged with predatory criminal sexual assault of a victim under 13 years old, remains in custody at the Cook County Jail.
